Haijian Sun is a male professor at the Wuxi Medical School of Jiangnan University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Pathology and Pathophysiology from Nanjing Medical University in 2016. From 2018 to 2021, he conducted postdoctoral research at the National University of Singapore. In 2021, he began independent research in metabolic and inflammatory pharmacology at the State Key Laboratory of Natural Medicines at China Pharmaceutical University. He joined the Wuxi Medical School of Jiangnan University in 2022. Professor Sun's research mainly focuses on target organ damage and drug intervention in metabolic and inflammatory diseases. In recent years, he has published over 20 SCI research papers as the first author and corresponding author in journals such as Gut, Nature Communications, and Redox Biology, including more than 10 papers in top-tier SCI journals. His work has been cited over 3400 times on Google Scholar, with an H-index of 33. He has led or completed projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, including general and youth projects, and the Jiangsu Province Science Association Youth Lift Project. He is a member of the Teaching Committee of the Jiangsu Pharmacological Society and the Youth Committee of the Jiangsu Physiological Society. He also serves as a youth editorial board member for journals such as Aging & Disease, Burns & Trauma, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, a guest editor for Front Pharmacol and Life, and a reviewer for journals like Medical Research Reviews and Diabetes. |
