Dr. Fei Fang graduated with a Ph.D. in Pathophysiology and Physiology from Nanjing Medical University in 2013. From 2013 to 2019, he conducted postdoctoral research in the lab of Nobel laureates Brown & Goldstein at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He then served as a Research Scientist at the same institution from 2019 to 2022. In December 2022, Dr. Fang returned to China to establish an independent laboratory at Wuxi Medical School, Jiangnan University. Dr. Fang's research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases and metabolic disorders. His current projects include the molecular mechanisms of glucose and lipid metabolism under nutritional regulation, the endocrine regulatory mechanisms involving multiple organs in nutritional metabolism, and the nutritional intervention mechanisms in metabolic syndrome and age-related diseases. Dr. Fang has published 19 articles in high-impact journals such as Circulation Research, Hepatology, PNAS, and Hypertension, with a total of 952 citations. He also serves as a reviewer for several journals, including American Journal of Cardiology, Nutrition & Metabolism, and Journal of Molecular Biology. Dr. Fang welcomes students with a background in biomedicine to apply for master's and doctoral programs. He also invites ambitious colleagues to join his lab for mutual learning and progress. His lab is continuously recruiting postdoctoral researchers with competitive compensation. Interested candidates can send their resumes to 8202212004@jiangnan.edu.cn. |
