She serves as the Deputy Director of Gynecological Oncology at Tongji Hospital, affiliated with Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Dr. Gao is a recipient of national-level talent recognition and is the Chair of the Gynecological Oncology Committee of the Hubei Provincial Clinical Oncology Association. Her expertise lies in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological malignancies, particularly ovarian cancer. She excels in surgical treatment, comprehensive treatment, and targeted therapy for ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, and endometrial cancer, as well as in minimally invasive surgery for complex endometriosis. In 2018, she was awarded the first prize for the Youth Innovation Award in the national "Glory Doctor" selection by Global Times.
