Ye Chao, male, lecturer, currently serves as a member of the Youth Committee of the Jiangsu Society of Pathophysiology. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from the School of Medicine at Anhui University of Science and Technology in June 2017, and his Ph.D. in Basic Medical Physiology from Nanjing Medical University in June 2022. During his Ph.D. studies, Dr. Ye primarily focused on researching the mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases, particularly the pathogenesis and targeted interventions of hypertensive vascular remodeling. Over the past five years, he has published 15 SCI research papers in journals such as the Journal of Extracellular Vesicles, Theranostics, Hypertension, and Acta Pharmacologica Sinica, with six of these as the first author, accumulating an impact factor exceeding 40. He is also the second inventor on three authorized national invention patents. In July 2022, Ye Chao joined the Department of Pathophysiology at Wuxi Medical School, Jiangnan University, becoming part of the research team focused on cardiac disease mechanisms and translational research. His current research mainly involves pluripotent stem cell biology, molecular cardiology, and the molecular mechanisms of inter-organ communication in cardiovascular diseases. He is currently leading one Wuxi "Light of Taihu" Scientific and Technological Breakthrough Project, one Jiangnan University Central University Basic Scientific Research Fund (Youth Project), and has completed one Jiangsu Province Graduate Scientific Research Innovation Project. |
