Yang Liu obtained her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Xinxiang Medical University in 2014, her Master's degree in Pathology and Pathophysiology from Central South University in 2017, and her Ph.D. in Human Physiology from Peking University in 2021. Since February 2022, she has been working at Wuxi Medical School, Jiangnan University. Her research mainly focuses on the mechanisms and intervention strategies of vascular diseases such as atherosclerosis, vascular calcification, and aortic aneurysms. As the first author, she has published five papers in journals including Circulation Research, Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology, and Frontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology, with one of her papers receiving an editorial comment in Circulation Research. She currently leads a National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund project. |
