Affiliated Hospital of Jiangnan University is a large, modern, and comprehensiveGrade-A tertiary hospital that integrates medical treatment, education, scientific research, prevention, health care, and rehabilitation. It was established through the integration of the former the Third People’s Hospital and the Fourth People’s Hospital in Wuxi, as part of the “City-School Collaboration” initiative by the Wuxi Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government. The hospital plays a pivotal role in advancing the “Healthy Wuxi” strategic layout. It is a co-construction unit for the National Trauma Regional Medical Center. It also serves as Burn Emergency Medical Treatment Center in Jiangsu Province and is among the first batch of National Clinical Nutrition Science Department construction demonstration units. The hospital is designated for one of the research-oriented hospitals in Jiangsu Province. And it consists of two sites, northern site and southern site, with a total of 2,210 beds.
