Mental Health Center of Jiangnan University (Wuxi Mental Health Center), established in 1956, is an international and modern Grade-A tertiary psychiatric specialty hospital that integrates clinical treatment, teaching, research, prevention, and rehabilitation of mental illnesses. It offers 1,228 beds for patients. The hospital primarily takes on responsibilities for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses in Wuxi, providing guidance on mental health, community prevention and rehabilitation, treatment of “three non-personnel” mentally ill patients, treatment of judicial psychiatric patients, and affairs related to judicial, disability, and labor capacity assessments.
